The History Of Guitar Ninjas

Guitar Ninjas was founded by Guitar Teacher and Musical Educator Michael Gumley. After being frustrated with a lack of any contemporary guitar education books he decided to write his own beginner guitar books in 2016.

After writing four books (The Ultimate Beginner Guitar Method Parts 1 & 2, The Ultimate Beginner Guitar Method Book for Kids, and The Fretboard Mastery Book) Michael began to look for ways he could incorporate additional elements like gamification to make learning more fun and engaging.

When he decided use a karate style level system with different coloured guitar straps in place of belts, Guitar Ninjas was born, and the books were rewritten to form the first 4 levels of Guitar Ninjas.
